2017-18 American Family Insurance ALL-USA High School Softball Teams

The 2017-18 American Family Insurance ALL-USA High School Softball Team was selected by Fastpitch News based on performance, level of competition and strength of schedule.

The team spans from the East Coast to the West Coast and all points in between. No state has more than two selections – California, Florida, Minnesota, Texas and Virginia each have two players.

Players from states that play in the fall or the spring were eligible for consideration.

School: West Orange (Winter Garden, Fla.) Position: OF Year: Senior College: Michigan Noteworthy: The Michigan commit batted .459 in 24 games played this season. Blair recorded 34 hits, with eight doubles, seven triples, 36 RBI and held a .837 slugging percentage. Blair also held a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. School: The Colony (Texas) Position: INF Year: Sophomore College: Oklahoma Noteworthy: The future Sooner held a .697 batting average over the 2018 season. The sophomore had 69 hits, 18 doubles, eight triples, six home runs, 29 RBI, and a 1.222 slugging percentage. In 32 games played, Coleman held a .943 fielding percentage. Photo: Kevin Shelton

School: Cathedral Catholic (San Diego) Position: RHP Year: Senior College: UCLA Noteworthy: The 6-foot-1 right-hander held a 0.23 ERA in the 2018 season. The UCLA commit recorded 405 strikeouts, five no-hitters, and four perfect games. Faraimo allowed only 47 hits and eight walks in the 186.1 innings pitched. Photo: Cathedral Catholic High School

School: East Carter (Grayson, Ky.) Position: UT Year: Senior College: Alabama Noteworthy: Held a perfect 37-1 overall record in the 2018 season. Fouts maintained a 0.07 ERA, had 383 strikeouts, 11 no-hitters, seven perfect games, and held opponents to a 0.073 batting average. At the plate, Fouts held a .584 batting average with 18 doubles, eight home runs, 57 RBI, 42 runs scored, and a 1.078 slugging percentage. School: Academy at the Lakes (Land O'Lakes, Fla.) Position: RHP Year: Junior College: Alabama Noteworthy: The 6-foot-2 right-hander led the Wildcats to the Class 2A state championship this past season. Kilfoyl posted a 23-1 mark in the circle with a 0.32 earned run average and 249 strikeouts in 154 innings pitched. School: Seaman (Topeka, Kan.) Position: INF-LHP Year: Senior College: Wichita State Noteworthy: Compiled a .696 batting average with 15 home runs and 60 runs batted in this past season, leading the Vikings (21-4) to the Class 5A state semifinals. Mills also collected eight doubles, scored 32 runs and walked 39 times to produce a .825 on-base percentage and a 1.642 slugging percentage. School: Meigs County (Decatur, Tenn.) Position: UT Year: Senior College: Tennessee Noteworthy: The 5-foot-10 senior right-handed pitcher led the Tigers (34-4) to the Class AA state championship this past season. Rogers compiled a 29-2 record with a 0.20 ERA in the circle, along with a .463 batting average, eight home runs and 37 RBI.
