ALL-USA Girls Golf: Second Team

The 2017-18 American Family Insurance ALL-USA Girls Golf Teams were selected based on performance, level of competition and strength of schedule. Junior golf success was a secondary consideration, and those who did not compete regularly for their high school were not considered. Players from states that play in the fall or spring were eligible for selection.

School: Archmere Academy (Claymont, Del.) Year: Sophomore College: Duke Noteworthy: Brinker rallied from three shots down to win her second Delaware state tournament with a 4-under-par 140. Brinker also won the tournament, which includes both boys and girls, as an eighth-grader before losing in a playoff as a freshman. School: Bellarmine Prep (Tacoma, Wash.) Year: Freshman College: Undecided Noteworthy: Ferreira dominated the Washington Class 4A state meet, shooting back-to-back rounds of 66 and 65 for a two-round score of 131, a state record as well as the lowest state tournament score in the country this year. School: First Academy (Orlando, Fla.) Year: Junior College: North Carolina Noteworthy: Guo was the runner-up to teammate Ariel Yu at the Florida Class 1A state tournament as her two-round score of 6-under 138 helped First Academy to the team title. Ranked No. 17 in the country by the American Junior Golf Association, Guo placed seventh at the PING Invitational in October and was the winner at the Callaway Golf/Ollie Schneiderjans Junior Classic in April. School: Forrest City (Ark.) Year: Senior College: Central Florida Noteworthy: Moon shot an 8-under-par 64 to win the Arkansas Class 5A state tournament by eight shots for her third state title in four years. A semifinalist at the 2017 U.S. Girls Junior Championships last July, she is currently ranked No. 70 by the American Junior Golf Association. Photo: Donnie Willis

School: Randolph School (Huntsville, Ala.) Year: Sophomore College: Alabama Noteworthy: Morard shot a state-record 8-under-par in the first round of the Alabama Class 4A-5A state tournament in May, but her two-round total of 137 was only good for second place. Morard, who was also the MVP of the Randolph High softball team this spring, won the Alabama Junior Girls Golf Championship by 14 strokes last June and she took first place at the Justin Rose Junior All-Star Invitational in October with a 13-under total of 203. School: Holy Angels (Demarest, N.J.) Year: Senior College: Northwestern Noteworthy: Sim shot a 67 at the New Jersey Tournament of Champions for her third title in four years. A 2016 ALL-USA Second Team selection, Sim birdied the par-5 18th hole to secure the victory.
