2017-18 American Family Insurance ALL-USA Boys Lacrosse Teams

The 2017-18 American Family Insurance ALL-USA boys lacrosse team was selected based on performance, level of competition and strength of schedule.

Maryland leads the way with four players, including ALL-USA Player of the Year Joey Epstein of the Landon School in Bethesda. New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania each produced three honorees, while California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Virginia and Washington, D.C., all have two. Colorado, Indiana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon and Texas are also represented on the squad.

Player of the Year: Joey Epstein, Landon School (Bethesda, Md.)

Coach of the Year: Steve Lydon, Boston College High (Mass.)

School: Landon (Bethesda, Md.) High Position: Defense Year: Senior Height: 6-3 College: North Carolina Noteworthy: The top-ranked defender in the Class of 2018 by InsideLacrosse, Bowen led the Eagles (20-3) to the Massachusetts Division 1 state title. School: Brunswick (Greenwich, Conn.) Position: Goalie Year: Senior Height: 6-0 College: Virginia Noteworthy: Burkinshaw backstopped Brunswick to a 16-1 record and the Western New England co-championship. School: Strath Haven (Wallingford, Penn.) Position: Midfield Year: Senior Height: 6-0 College: Virginia Noteworthy: Conner recorded 96 goals and 60 assists and finished his career with 408 points, sixth-most in Pennsylvania state history. School: Torrey Pines (San Diego) Position: Defense Year: Senior Height: 6-2 College: North Carolina Noteworthy: Egan led Torrey Pines to a 19-1 record and the San Diego Section Division I championship for a third straight year. School: St. Sebastian’s (Needham, Mass.) Position: Defense/Long-stick midfield Year: Junior Height: 5-11 College: Harvard Noteworthy: Frisoli is a menace on defense, collecting 75 groundballs to lead St. Sebastian’s (17-3) to the Geico National Tournament quarterfinals. School: Calvert Hall (Baltimore) Position: Attack Year: Senior Height: 5-9 College: North Carolina Noteworthy: A two-time Baltimore Sun All-Metro Player of the Year, Kelly contributed 46 goals and 57 assists as Calvert Hall won its second straight Maryland private school state title. Position: Attack Year: Junior Height: 6-1 College: Notre Dame Noteworthy: Taylor scored 55 goals and passed for 17 assists to lead Regis Jesuit to the Colorado Class 5A state championship.
