Meet the 2019-20 ALL-USA Preseason High School Boys Basketball Team

USA TODAY High School Sports is unveils the ALL-USA preseason boys basketball team for the 2019-20 season with the selection of 25 players.

The team was selected by USA TODAY Sports’ Jason Jordan in consultation with the USA TODAY High School Sports staff and various recruiting analysts and high school coaches.

Statistics are from last season, except where otherwise noted. Players are listed in alphabetical order.

Patrick Baldwin Jr. School: Hamilton (Sussex, Wisconsin) Pos: Small Forward Ht/Wt: 6-8/190 Year: 2021 College: Uncommitted Noteworthy: Baldwin averaged 19 points a game for a total of 495 points in 26 games last season. He also had 8.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists a game and shot 48.5 percent from the field and 37 percent from beyond the arc. He led his team to a Conference Championship for the first time since 2013. Paolo Banchero School: O’Dea (Seattle) Position: Power Forward Height/Weight: 6-9/235 Class: 2021 College: Uncommitted Noteworthy: After averaging 23 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and 2.5 blocks with Nike EYBL this summer, Banchero is looking to help O’Dea repeat as champions. Scottie Barnes School: Montverde (Florida) Academy Position: Point Forward Ht/Wt: 6-7/180 Class: 2020 College: Florida State Noteworthy: The No. 10 overall player in the Chosen 25 and one of the most relentless competitors in the country, Barnes plays all five positions, but thrives as a playmaker. Emoni Bates School: Lincoln (Ypsilanti, Michigan) Pos: Small Forward Ht/Wt: 6-8/200 Year: 2022 College: Uncommitted Noteworthy: Bates backed up his “next big thing” buzz, averaging 28.7 points and 10.2 rebounds per game as a freshman. He had 44 steals and 50 assists. Last season, he helped Ypsilanti Lincoln win its first-ever state championship. He was named the ALL-USA Michigan Player of the Year. Brandon “BJ” Boston School: Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, California) Position: Shooting Guard Height/Weight: 6-6/175 Class: 2020 College: Kentucky Noteworthy: The Chosen 25 guard comes off a Nike EYBL performance in which he averaged 22.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists while shooting above 50 percent.Photo: Talha Rafique

Jaemyn Brakefield School: Huntington Prep (West Virginia) Pos: Small Forward Ht/Wt: 6-8/210 Year: 2020 College: Duke Noteworthy: Brakefield averaged 18 points, 6.8 rebounds and two assists last season. Greg Brown School: Vandegrift (Austin, Texas) Position: Forward Height/Weight: 6-7/180 Class: 2020 College: Uncommitted Noteworthy: A top-10 member of the Class of 2020 Chosen 25, Brown is one of the nation's most explosive players. Kennedy Chandler School: Briarcrest Christian (Eads, Tennessee) Position: Point Guard Ht/Wt: 6-1/160 Class: 2021 College: Uncommitted Noteworthy: The No. 14 overall player in the Chosen 25, Chandler led Mokan Elite (Mo.) to the Nike Peach Jam title in July after leading the Saints to a state title last season. Terrence Clarke School: Brewster Academy (Wolfeboro, New Hampshire) Position: Shooting Guard Height/Weight: 6-6/190 Class: 2020 College: Kentucky Noteworthy: Clarke, who is ranked No. 4 overall in the Chosen 25, is one of the most versatile scoring guards in the country with the size and talent to be projected as an NBA Lottery pick in 2021. Sharife Cooper School: McEachern (Powder Springs, Georgia) Position: Point Guard Ht/Wt: 6-0/155 Class: 2020 College: Auburn Noteworthy: Cooper, the No. 2 overall player in the Chosen 25 and reigning ALL-USA Player of the Year, led the Indians to a 32-0 record last season. Cade Cunningham School: Montverde (Florida) Academy Position: Point Guard Ht/Wt: 6-5/180 Class: 2020 College: Oklahoma State Noteworthy: Cunningham is the No. 1 overall player in the Chosen 25 who won MVP of the Nike EYBL this past summer while running with the Texas Titans. Andre Curbelo School: Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, New York) Position: Point Guard Height/Weight: 6-0/155 Class: 2020 College: Illinois Noteworthy: Curbelo is the floor general for the No. 9 Crusaders. As a junior, he nearly averaged a triple-double with 15.5 points, nine assists, 8.1 rebounds per game. He also led the team with 4.1 steals per game and shot 47 percent from 3-point range. R.J. Davis School: Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, New York) Position: Combo Guard Height/Weight: 5-11/164 Class: 2020 College: North Carolina Noteworthy: Last season, Davis led CHSAA Class AA in scoring with 25.4 points per game. Hunter Dickinson School: DeMatha Catholic (Hyattsville, Maryland) Position: Center Height/Weight: 7-2/255 Class: 2020 College: Uncommitted Noteworthy: In his junior year, Dickinson averaged 17.6 points and 10.8 rebounds a game for the 19th ranked Stags. The lefty is hard to stop down low with his size but can also take his defender out to the perimeter and knock down shots. Michael Foster Jr. School: Hillcrest Prep (Phoenix, Arizona) Position: Forward Height/Weight: 6-9/220 Class: 2021 College: Uncommitted Noteworthy: After averaging 18.9 points and 11.3 rebounds last year at Milwaukee Washington, the No. 6 player in the Chosen 25 transferred to Hillcrest Prep.Photo: Nathan Clarke

Jalen Green School: Prolific Prep (Napa, California) Position: Combo Guard Height/Weight: 6-5/170 Class: 2020 College: Uncommitted Noteworthy: An ALL-USA Second Team player as a junior, Green took his elite athleticism and sharpshooting to Prolific Prep to be a spotlight on the national stage. Jonathan Kuminga School: The Patrick School (Hillside, New Jersey) Position: Small Forward Height/Weight: 6-8/205 Class: 2021 College: Uncommitted Noteworthy: The top-ranked player in the 2021 Chosen 25 averaged 25 points and five rebounds a game as a sophomore. Evan Mobley School: Rancho Christian (Temecula, California) Position: Center Height/Weight: 6-11/205 Class: 2020 College: USC Noteworthy: Widely regarded as a top pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, Mobley, who is ranked No. 6 overall in the Chosen 25, takes the reigns of Rancho Christian as a senior as an elite player on both sides of the ball with skills in the post and on the perimeter alike. Aminu Mohammed School: Greenwood Laboratory School (Springfield, Missouri) Pos: Small Forward Ht/Wt: 6-4/175 Year: 2021 College: Uncommitted Noteworthy: He averaged just over 34 points per game, leading Greenwood to a state title. Jalen Suggs School: Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, Minnesota) Pos: Point Guard Ht/Wt: 6-5/200 Year: 2020 College: Uncommitted Noteworthy: Suggs averaged 24 points, five rebounds, three steals and five assists per game last season.
