PLAYER PROFILE:

Jacob Eason
Position: Quarterback
Height, weight: 6-5, 217 pounds
School: Lake Stevens, Wash.
Age: 18
College choice: Georgia

Details: Led team to state 4A runner-up finish, throwing for 3,585 yards and 43 touchdowns with a 70% completion rate and six interceptions. His father, Tony, played wide receiver for Notre Dame.

Favorite teacher: “Probably Mr. (Rob) Davis for photography. He’s a sports guy and a fun guy to be around and it was a fun class.”

Go-to song on The Voice: “Probably The Boys of Fall by Kenny Chesney.”

Best, worst of recruiting: “The best parts were taking all the visits and learning where you wanted to go to college and the worst parts were the drama and talking on the phone all the time. It was more good than bad. The toughest part was staying clear-minded and looking at everything and not making a quick decision when Coach (Mark) Richt left.”

Mistake I’ve learned from: “To fill your (gas) tank up before it runs out. The gas gauge works, but I didn’t notice it.”

Favorite superpower: “Probably to be able to fly or have super strength.”

Last movie: “The third Stars Wars movie to get ready for the new one.”

Season highlight: “Probably making it to the Tacoma Dome with the team, all those guys.”

Recent good read: “The Kite Runner was pretty good.”

Dream car: “Ford Raptor or Jeep Wrangler.”

First car I drove: “A 1982 Mercedes 240D. My brother and I went out and got it. It was a manual transmission.”
