Rawle Alkins is among the top uncommitted seniors in the nation and wherever he goes, the buzz follows.
Alkins, in his first season at Word of God Academy in North Carolina, is ranked No. 17 in the ESPN 100. The only uncommitted player who is ranked higher is Josh Jackson from Prolific Prep (Napa, Calif.).
Alkins, a 6-5 wing, has visited St. John’s an UNLV and is on his second visit in two weeks to Arizona this weekend. The first one was an unofficial visit. Alkins is a native New Yorker but that lure might not be enough for St. John’s.
