The 2016 American Family Insurance All-USA Preseason Girls Track and Field team was selected by Fred Baer, founder of the Track and Field Writers of America, and Mike Kennedy, high school editor of Track & Field News.

NEED TO KNOW:

Francis was the surprise California 200 champ in 2015 ahead of Arcadia National Invitational champion Williams and they finished the season ranked No. 3 and 2 respectively, behind new pro Candace Hill. Francis is also the top returning American high school 100 meter runner. Irby is the returning national 400 leader.
