Liz Pautz, a junior pitcher, excelled in the circle over five (!) appearances last week.  She pitched 29 innings and struck out 54 batters, giving up no runs in the process. Pulaski (Wis.) defeated Green Bay Preble 6-0 on Thursday, and Pautz displayed the dominant stuff that she had been showing all week. The junior threw a three-hitter and struck out 14.

The consistent performance by Pautz leads the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Performances of the Week.

The rest of the performances of the week as spring sports continue around the nation:

Caleb Parker, boys track and field, Stafford (Texas)

Stafford won the regional meet for the second straight year, and it wouldn’t have been possible without Parker.  The senior is a Region IV-4A champion in the 110-meter hurdles (14.53), the 300-meter hurdles (38.72) and the high jump (6-09).

Kimmi D’Ottavio, softball, Avonworth (Pennsylvania)

In a win Thursday, D’Ottavio excelled at the plate and in the circle.  The junior pitched three innings and struck out seven.  She was even better at the plate as she went three-for-three with two doubles.

Tyler Prospero, baseball, Notre Dame (New York)

Notre Dame High School went 2-0 last week and Prospero excelled. The senior struck out 20 batters in 13 innings pitched and surrendered just five hits.

Chelsea Bisi, softball, Derry (Pennsylvania)

The Robert Morris recruit went 5-for-6 in two games to lead Derry to consecutive wins over West Shamokin and Laurel Highlands.  During the streak, Bisi had three doubles, two home runs, two walks and eight RBI.

Jada Wilson, girls track and field, El Camino (Oceanside, California)

The sophomore was faster than the rest of the field at the Escondido Invitational, winning the 100 with a time of 12.03.  Wilson also won the 200 with an impressive 24.54.

Jadon Uhrich, baseball, Rocky Mountain (Colorado)

The junior hit two home runs in a 7-5 win over No. 6 Fort Collins and followed that up with an RBI and two runs scored in a win over Greeley West.

Annie Hill, girls track and field, Kalispell Glacier (Montana)

Hill excelled at the Russ Pilcher Top 10 track and field meet on Tuesday, as she set meet records in the 800 (2:11.16) and 1600 (4:46.69).

Ben Wadowski, baseball, Kentwood (Washington)

The senior gave up just two hits and a walk in a shutout win last week.  Wadowski also struck out 14 batters.
