Every forward in soccer needs to have a certain ruthlessness about them—a willingness to get after every ball and make runs even if they don’t get a pass at the end of them. If you don’t put the work in, the reward won’t be there.  Aylissa Trosper, a forward for Goshen (Ind.), has that ruthlessness and confidence needed to excel. She found the back of the net five times last week and already has 17 goals in 11 games this season.

“It’s nice for a player like her to be entering her senior year and be playing her best soccer,” Goshen head coach Dan Graber said. “That’s what every coach wants out of their players. She’s putting the whole package together this year.”

For her efforts, Trosper leads the American Family Insurance All-USA Performances of the week.

Below are the rest of the top performances as fall sports continue around the nation:

Daniel Hartman, boys soccer, Dansville (Mich.)

After missing the first six games, the Dansville senior was more than ready for his season debut last week as he scored a goal 15 seconds in. The goal gave Hartman confidence and the goal scoring midfielder added four more and two assists in three Dansville wins last week—including a hat trick against Laingburg.

Emma Hinson, girls soccer, Jesuit (Ore.)

In a team sport, every position has value. A goalkeeper in soccer is just as important as a scorer. Average goalkeeping can kill a team’s chances at success, but Hinson has been anything but average over the past year.  She has 18 clean sheets in her last 19 games and 7 shutouts this year.

B.J. Rainford, football, Ridge Point (Texas)

Rainford only had nine carries this week, but the senior running back sure as heck took advantage of them. Rainford exploded for 177 yards and three touchdowns in the Panthers 49-8 win over Kempner. In case you’re wondering, that’s 19.6 yards per carry. That average would be sensational for a quarterback or a wide receiver. For a running back? It’s worthy of a spot on this list.

Rose Sawyers, girls soccer, Granville (Ohio)

The junior excelled in two games last week as she scored five goals and assisted five more. Sawyers has ten goals and ten assists so far this season.

Rennie Clark, football, Wheeling Park (W.V.)

Wheeling Park was beating Brooke 13-6 at the half—a tight contest before Clark exploded. Wheeling eventually won the game 54-18. Clark carried the ball 28 times for 283 yards and three touchdowns, with most of his production coming in the second half.

Tucker Atteberry, football, Ashland (Ore.)

Atteberry was just as good on defense as he was on offense in a 52-21 win over Marist. The dynamic athlete threw for 321 yards and four touchdowns. On defense, Atteberry returned an interception 51 yards for another score.

Mady Acers, girls golf, Blue Springs (Mo.)

The senior has excelled this season as she’s won her first three tournaments. Acers medaled in the Suburban Gold Conference last week and followed it up with a Missouri Class 2, district 7 tournament. The senior golfer recorded a hole-in-one in the tournament.

Joe Harrison, football, Timon/St. Jude (N.Y.)

Harrison was spectacular on offense and defense in a win over St. Mary’s. The RB/LB rushed for 231 yards, four touchdowns and recorded eight tackles on defense.

Audrey Haworth, girls volleyball, Fishers (Ind.)

Haworth has been remarkably consistent this season as she’s recorded 112 kills. She showed off that consistency in a win over Brownsburg. Haworth tallied 18 kills and had 12 digs.
