UCLA commit Jaelan Phillips is ranked as the No. 1 weak side defensive end in the nation, according to 247Sports.
A candidate for American Family Insurance ALL-USA Defensive Player of the Year, Phillips had five sacks and returned a punt for a touchdown as Redlands (Calif.) East Valley beat rival Redlands, 28-14.
Entering the weekend, he led the team with 76 tackles, including 15.5 for loss through the first five games.
