Amy Bilquist is only a high school senior, but she’s already one of the top swimmers in the country, period. The Cal-bound swimmer from Carmel, Ind., leads the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Performances of the Week.
She won her third medal Sunday at the World Championships in Doha, Qatar, earning a silver in the women’s 200-meter freestyle relay while swimming the anchor leg. She also won a gold in the mixed 200 free relay and a silver in the women’s 400 relay.

Senior quarterback, who is headed to Duquesne, set the state career passing yardage record of 10,984 yards in a 44-14 playoff defeat of Hickory (Hermitage) on Saturday. He can expand on that record in Saturday’s state AA final vs. Dunmore.

Senior guard, who has signed with South Dakota State, scored 35 points in a 75-70 overtime defeat of Hopkins (Minnetonka) on Saturday.

Senior quarterback led team to its third consecutive Div. V state title, throwing for four touchdowns and running for two in a 62-21 defeat of Central Catholic (Canton) on Saturday.
Tate Martell, football, Bishop Gorman, Las Vegas
Sophomore quarterback threw for six touchdowns and ran for a touchdown in a 70-28 defeat of Reed (Sparks) in the state Division I championship on Saturday.
Tom Terranova, ice hockey, Middletown North, Middletown, N.J.
Senior scored an unassisted goal Monday to set the school record with 105 career points.

Senior, who has signed with Connecticut, had 39 points in a 74-56 defeat of Foothill (Santa Ana) and 37 points in a 79-48 defeat of El Dorado (Placerville) in championship of South Coast Tournament.
Jo-Jo Shumaker, football, Ledyard, Conn.
Senior running back ran for 343 yards and five touchdowns in a 54-7 playoff defeat of Wolcott on Saturday. He has passed for 2,141 yards and 40 touchdowns this season.
