Clemson wide receiver commit Tee Higgins is know more for his work on defense, but Friday night, he picked off a pass and went 89 yards for the pick six for Oak Ridge (Tenn.).
The end result overall was not what Oak Ridge was looking for, as it was upset 27-24 by Webb School with the winning points coming on a field goal with 54 seconds to play. Oak Ridge dominated Webb 62-6 last season.
At the time, Higgins’ return gave Oak Ridge at 14-7 advantage.
Higgins is an Under Armour All-American and a midseason candidate for American Family Insurance ALL-USA Offensive Player of the Year.
