Haslett (Mich.) captured a Class B district title in volleyball and Lane Valley was outstanding throughout the tournament. Valley, a setter, had 32 assists, six aces and four digs in a three set win over Willamston. Valley was even better in the championship game, as she recorded 38 assists and six digs. Valley was instrumental in the march towards a state title. The setter had 913 assists, 74 aces and 104 digs this fall.

Valley’s title winning performance leads the ALL-USA Performances of the Week.

Below are the rest of the top performances as fall sports continue around the nation:

Stephen Kielhofner, boys cross country, Springfield Catholic (Mo.)

Moving up a class like Springfield did last year can be daunting, but that didn’t stop Kielhofner from capturing his second straight state title. The junior ran the 5k course in 15:36.61 and was 12 seconds faster than the rest of the field.

Emma Steffel, girls swim and dive, Ashwaubenon (Wis.)

Ashwaubenon won its first WIAA Division II sectional title since 2012 and Steffel played a large role in the win. The junior won the 200m freestyle with a personal best time of 1:59.3 and swam in the 400m freestyle relay, a race Ashwaubenon also won.

Drew Turner, football, Kalispell Glacier (Mont.)

Teams need their star players to show up in the state tournament, and Turner did just that in the Montana Class AA state quarterfinals. The running back carried the ball 21 times for a school record 256 yards and two touchdowns in the 35-14 win over Missoula Sentinel.

Ali Thompson, girls volleyball, Ursuline (Ohio)

Ursuline won a match and lost a match last week in the postseason, but Thompson did all she could for her team.  She recorded 31 kills and 14 digs in the two matches.

Christian Schabel, football, Danville (Ind.)

The quarterback was sensational in a close 40-35 win over Bishop Chatard. Schabel completed 20-of-33 passes for 350 yards and six touchdowns.

Ashlyn Hunt, girls swim and dive, Lafayette (La.)

The Florida Atlantic commit won the 100 butterfly and 200 medley races in the district meet last week. Hunt is the Lafayette record holder in the 100 butterfly and 50 freestyle events.

Kevon Copeland, football, Morton Ranch (Texas)

Morton Ranch defeated Seven Lakes 32-21 and Copeland led the way on offense. The senior running back carried the ball 32 times for 294 yards and three touchdowns.

Rylee Greiman, girls volleyball, Windsor (Colo.)

Windsor won the district tournament and Greiman had a fantastic tournament. The sophomore had a combined 26 kills, three aces, 12 blocks and 46 digs in the two Windsor wins. Windsor will advance to the state tournament.

Alton Ingram, football, Dunkirk (N.Y.)

The senior running back/linebacker carried Dunkirk to its first sectional championship. Ingram rushed for 224 yards and three touchdowns and was everywhere on defense, racking up 11 tackles.
