Oaks Christian’s (Westlake Village, Calif.) Lauren Rain Williams, an American Family Insurance ALL-USA sprinter the past two years, signed with Southern Cal Thursday.
“It hasn’t kicked in yet because I still had to go to school today and it probably won’t kick in ‘til later,” Williams told the Los Angeles Daily News. “It was tough and it came down to the last minute and I’m happy with my decision,” Williams said.
Williams ran the nation’s fastest 200 last year, and her time of 22.44 was third all-time nationally.
