Charli Collier, a member of the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Preseason Girls Basketball Team, committed to Connecticut on Saturday. She made the announcement via Twitter.

Collier, a 6-5 forward from Barbers Hill in Texas, is ranked as the No. 7 player and No. 2 forward in the Class of 2018 by ESPNw’s Hoop Gurlz.
She averaged 24.6 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks last season as a sophomore and started all 63 varsity games in her first two seasons. She averaged 17.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks as a freshman. She entered this season with 1,346 points, 547 rebounds, 84 assists, 82 steals and 130 blocked shots.
Collier also played for the USA Women’s U17 World Championship Team last summer.
