David Jenkins' scorebook-stuffing night leads ALL-USA Performances of the Week

David Jenkins, a senior guard for Wilson (Washington), was absolutely spectacular in a 100-95 overtime win over Tamanawis (British Columbia). Jenkins scored 51 points, had eight rebounds, seven assists and six steals in the win. The performance helped Jenkins surpass 1,200 points for his career.

For his efforts, Jenkins leads the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Performances of the Week.

The rest of the top performances as high school sports continue around the nation:

Tamirra Haskin, girls basketball, Laurel (Mississippi).

Haskin put together an all-around performance in a 54-33 win over East Marion. Haskin had 22 points, eight assists, eight steals and six rebounds.

“Tamirra is the glue for our team, she’s carried us the last two years,” coach Darius Walker told the Jackson Clarion-Ledger. “We have some good pieces around her, but she makes us who we are. She’s a great decision maker and an all-around good player.”

Kole Kalisch, boys hockey, Greenway (Minnesota).

Kalisch, a senior forward, did his job by scoring three goals in a 6-0 win over North Shore. Kalisch has 19 goals so far this season, and his team has won four straight.

Charlesha Dugas, girls basketball, Rayne (Louisiana).

Dugas was remarkably consistent as she led Rayne to a Northwest Holiday Tournament championship victory. In the first win over Opelousas, Dugas scored 26 points on 9-of-16 shooting. In the second win last week over Ville Platte, Dugas had 28 points, 11 steals, seven rebounds and two assists. Finally, in the championship game win over Scotlandville, Dugas had 28 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Macy Erickson, girls basketball, Howard (South Dakota).

Erickson scored 28 points in a 61-60 win over Arlington.

Booker Coplin, boys basketball, Shakopee (Minnesota).

Coplin, a senior guard, nearly had a triple double in an 88-72 win over St. Francis. Coplin had 30 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists in the victory.

Haley Harrison, girls basketball, East Jessamine (Kentucky).

East Jessamine had lost their two previous games by an average of 30 points, but Harrison helped stop the trouble in a close 57-53 win over Sheldon Clark. Harrison scored 21 points in the win.

Dylan Belquist, boys basketball, Los Gatos (California).

Belquist, a sophomore guard for Los Gatos (California), accounted for nearly half of his teams offensive production in a 68-59 win over Saint Teresa, scoring 31 points. He followed that up with a 27 point output in a 57-48 win over Westmont. Belquist is averaging 20.9 points per game so far this season.

Ronald Tucker, boys wrestling, Lockport (Illinois).

Tucker, a freshman wrestler, was outstanding in last week’s Powerade Tournament, held in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. He went 5-0 in the tournament, allowing one point. Tucker is 23-1 this season.

Katelyn Brightbill, girls hockey, Annville-Cleona (Pennsylvania).

Brightbill was spectacular in a 12-10 shootout win over Elizabethtown. Brightbill scored three goals and assisted five others, accounting for eight total points.
