Six elite high school boys basketball players and the nation’s top two girls basketball recruits will announce their college choices Thursday.
Of the eight players, five were named to the American Family Insurance Preseason ALL-USA Teams.

The early signing period began Wednesday and continues through next week, with a number of players set to announce in the coming days as well.

Selection: Alabama over Kentucky
Rayshaun Hammonds, No. 38 player overall
6-8 small forward, Norcoss (Ga.)
